Media attention for smoking cessation study
Since its recent start, a study on rewards for smoking cessation by the department of Family Medicine has caught a lot of attention in the national media.
The study investigates whether vouchers with a total amount of 350 euro can stimulate employees in Dutch companies to quit smoking.
RTL News broadcasted an interview with enthusiastic employees of companies in Budel and Emmen who are participating in the study. In addition, daily newspaper The Limburger recently published an interview with Onno van Schayck about the project.
Do you know companies that might be interested to participate in the study? Please send your tip to the PhD candidate on the project, Floor van den Brand, via catch@maastrichtuniversity.nl.
