First place rankings and medals for FASoS programmes in Elsevier Best Studies 2019
In the Elsevier Best Studies 2019 ranking, the bachelor’s programmes European Studies and Arts and Culture ended up first in their category.
Within the master’s programmes the research master in Cultures of Art, Science and Technology (CAST) ended up first and both the research master European Studies (RMES) and the master European Studies on Society, Science and Technology (ESST) received bronze medals. The Elsevier ranking is based on the National Student Survey.
The ranking is composed of students’ ratings in six categories: facilities, education, design of the programmes, teachers, testing, organisation and communication. Within the BA European Studies students are very satisfied with the design of the programme (79%) and 84% would recommend the programme to others. 85% of the students is satisfied with the internationalisation.
Within the BA Arts & Culture students are satisfied with the teachers (72%) and 73% would recommend the programme to others. 75% of the students is satisfied with the internationalisation.
Within CAST 79% of the students are overall satisfied with the programme. They are especially satisfied about the teachers (89%), the education (84%) and the testing (83%). 86% of the students is satisfied with the internationalisation.
The bronze medals awarded to the RMES and ESST means that the programmes have been at the top of their categories for one year.
