Data Science for Decision Making best Master's programme in it's category
The ‘Keuzegids Masters 2018’, released today, ranks DKE's Master programme in Data Science for Decision Making 1st place in the country for the category for Theoretical Master for Computer Science. Due to its high score, it has also received the "topopleiding" seal, which means that it belongs to the best Master's programmes in the Netherlands.
The Keuzegids assesses several aspects of education. As the country’s most international university, UM scores highest in the categories international exchange and international outlook. The quality of English as the language of instruction at UM is also ranked top of the table. DKE's Master's programme scores particularly high for its practice-oriented approach, facilities and curricula.
The two-year programme focuses on giving students the mathematical tools to model and handle datasets with useful information, patterns and anomalies in order to improve services in anything from customer care to biological process modelling. It has made significant progress since last year, when it was ranked 4th in its category - now in first place, it provides an even better training for students with a passion for data science.
