Mado Ntekouli (M.)

Currently (since September 2020), I am a PhD candidate at the Department of Data Science and Knowledge Engineering at the University of Maastricht, under the supervision of Jerry Spanakis (DKE) and Anne Roefs (PSYCHOLOGY).

In my PhD research, I will apply Network Science on Psychopathology, with the goal of developing personalized decision-making models for mental disorders. Specifically, the research project that I will be a part of focuses on the predictive network analysis of large-scale, dynamically interacting variables (such as symptoms) collected from multimodal data sources. By studying such individual-specific networks, the significance and association of those data variables can be investigated along with the potential shared network structures within groups of individuals.

My research interests include Machine Learning and its applications within the field of biomedical engineering.
