Mado Ntekouli (M.)
Currently, I am starting a postdoctoral research position at the Department of Advanced Computing Sciences at Maastricht University. Before that, I conducted my PhD research at the same department under the supervision of Jerry Spanakis (DACS) and Anne Roefs (PSYCHOLOGY). My PhD dissertation titled "Bridging Individual and Group Perspectives in Psychopathology: Data-Driven Modeling Approaches using Ecological Momentary Assessment Data" focused on developing computational methods to enhance our understanding of mental disorders.
During my PhD, my research aimed to develop and evaluate advanced analysis methods tailored to the network approach for studying psychopathology, which offers a novel perspective on mental disorders. Moving from personalized and group-based predictive models to more advanced transfer-learning approaches, the goal was to build robust and accurate models, paving the way for deeper insights into the mechanisms underlying psychopathology.
My research interests include Machine Learning and its applications within the field of medicine and biomedical engineering.
