My research focuses on automatic processes that play a role in alcohol use and abuse, obesity, and dieting as well as the ability to exert executive control over such (automatic) behavior. Specifically, my research concentrates on

  1. Implicit associations
  2. Evaluative conditioning
  3. Self-control
  4. Executive functioning training
  5. Obsessive-compulsive eating
