Kyle Jazwa (K.A.)
My primary research interests include building technologies, architectural innovation, ancient science, and interaction in the eastern Mediterranean during the Bronze and Early Iron Ages. I have participated in several archaeological projects in Greece, Italy and the USA and am currently responsible for the study of architectural fragments from Mitrou, Zygouries, and other excavations in Greece.
At MSP, I enjoy leading courses in academic writing and research skills. The biannual "Project Period" is also a favorite of mine; students have worked with material from my archaeological research projects, practiced photogrammetry, brewed ancient-inspired beers, and made experimental ceramics.
