Dr I.C. Karaoglu
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Istanbul Technical University in 2019. I also completed a double major in Chemical Engineering, graduating from the same institution in 2020.
Following this, I began a direct PhD program in Chemical and Biological Engineering at Koç University, Istanbul. After receiving my PhD in 2025, I moved to the Netherlands.
Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Translational Genomics. My research focuses on developing 3D skeletal muscle tissue using patient-derived stem cells to model mitochondrial diseases.
