This Digital Business and Economics master programme provides you with the skills to navigate our future world and help companies, NGOs and policy makers across the globe manage complex questions related to the digital transformation. You will explore questions such as: Should AI be used to replace people in positions that require respect and care such as a judge or a soldier? How can we avoid bias from creeping into algorithms? How should self-driving cars be regulated? How do we stay in control of a complex intelligent system?

Jointly designed by several departments and experts, this programme provides you with cutting edge knowledge and skills on digitalisation through the lens of various fields such as strategy, innovation, marketing, data analytics, game theory, ICT, accounting, economics and others. Building on a strong theoretical foundation in economics and business, you will study the nature and impact of digitalisation on our society.
This program will give you the skills to:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the existing digital technologies as well as their feasibility and implementation in diverse business contexts;
- Analyse real life challenges related to digitalisation (such as machine ethics, security, singularity, inequality, etc.) and come up with practical solutions;
- Support decision making processes by interpreting these challenges and find innovative digital solutions;
- Lead the digital transformation of your future workplace on a managerial level.
