D. Joosten - ten Brinke
I am professor of Learning & Assessment at the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences, in the School of Health Professions Education and the Department of Educational Development and Research. Stimulating and optimizing the quality of education, in which learning and assessment is aligned, is my main focus. I chair the task groups on Student Assessment and Instructional Design/e-learnin in the department O&O. My research focuses on the following aspects: the integration of assessment of learning and assessment for learning, workplace assessment and the technology that can improve assessment processes in the workplace and in education. I find it challenging and inspiring to supervise master students and PhD students, and enjoy giving workshops and trainings. I am national coordinator of the sectorplan investment on Educational Sciences and Teacher training programs. I am the editor of a Dutch journal on assessment.
