Old UM email addresses will be discontinued on 1 August 2026
From 1 August 2026, Maastricht University will discontinue the old email domains @student.unimaas.nl and @alumni.unimaas.nl. This change will help reduce security risks and limit unwanted email and spam.

1,300 UM alumni reunited in Maastricht
On Saturday 23 May 2026, around 1,300 alumni gathered at the Tapijnkazerne in Maastricht to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Maastricht University. With bright sunshine and summer temperatures reaching 29 degrees, the Tapijnkazerne became the setting for a large open-air reunion.
