UM takes next steps on the road to sustainability
Starting this week, the campaign for the Sustainability Roadmap 2030 will once again be visible in all UM buildings. With this roadmap, Maastricht University is working step by step towards a sustainable and equitable future – in education, research, operations and community. UM Rector Magnificus Pamela Habibović has made the sustainability of our organisation one of her priorities. Read more about this in this article.
Since its launch earlier this year, we have been taking steps forward every day on our road to sustainability. For example, an Impact Dashboard is now available, providing an initial insight into data and the impact of our sustainability measures. In addition, the Sustainability Survey among students and staff starts today. With this survey, we want to understand better which values and priorities our community considers important in the field of sustainability, so that future actions can be even better aligned with these.
Take a look inside the buildings to see how sustainability comes to life at UM, and discover how you can contribute to a greener, more circular and more engaged university.
