Raphael Heereman

Raphael Maximilian Heereman von Zuydtwyck received a B.A. in International Business and Management at the University of Applied Sciences Bochum, Germany and holds a master’s degree in Project Management with distinction from the Manchester Metropolitan University, as well as a Spanish máster in Translation and Interpreting.

About

After starting as a lecturer in linguistics he became as a research fellow with the Institute GEMIT at the University of Applied Sciences Niederrhein, in Moenchenlgadbach, Germany in 2013. Hi main researches in Sustainable Logistics, institutions of higher education and regional sustainable development as well as corporate sustainability and CSR. 

Currently, he manages the project "STRASUS - strategic sustainability for logistics“ (2017-2020), funded within the INTERREG V-A programme Duitsland-Nederland.

His PhD study at ICIS under the supervision of Pim Martens and Annemarie van Zeijl-Rozema concentrates on the investigation of the potential of Higher Education Institutions to act as change agents for sustainable regional development.
