Chiara Lillu, LLM (C.C.E.)

Chiara is a teacher at the Faculty of Law of Maastricht University. She specializes in Indirect Taxation in the European Union, in particular within the field of Mergers and Acquisitions. Chiara teaches in the courses European Value Added Tax and International & European Tax and Customs Law. 

Besides her work within the Indirect Tax department at Maastricht University, Chiara works as a Senior Consultant in the Indirect Tax practice of Deloitte. Her client portfolio consists of mostly clients in the (Dutch) private equity market. During her career at Deloitte, Chiara has been involved in over 300 transaction processes. She has a wide experience in (Vendor) Due Diligence projects, transaction and post-deal structuring and Fund advisory work.
