Maastricht University partners in ICAI collaboration
As of September 1st, the Innovation Center for Artificial Intelligence (ICAI) has officially become a collaboration between 18 Dutch knowledge institutions, including Maastricht University. With this agreement, a nationwide ecosystem of knowledge institutions will strengthen the governance of the ICAI network.
This partnership significantly boosts the ICAI community, aiming for a sustainable future for the network and all lab partners. ICAI remains focused on attracting, developing, and retaining AI talent and achieving impact through lab research, aligned with the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
ICAI will now focus on fully realising impact within the broader ecosystem, building bridges between labs, sharing experiences, and showcasing lab impact through blogs and videos. With this renewed collaboration and focus, ICAI leverages its knowledge since 2018, establishing itself as a leader in Dutch AI. Partnering with national institutions, ICAI aims for academic excellence and practical AI applications that positively impact society. The collective efforts promise a future where AI plays a key role in addressing societal challenges and fostering innovation in the Netherlands.
