MCR Receives the Silver Medal at the Reimagine Education Conference
For the project "Telepresence Robots fostering Inclusivity in Hybrid Business Education", the Maastricht Center for Robots has won the silver medal at the Reimagine Education conference in the category "Innovation in Business Education". Reimagine Education is a global conference and competition, open to educational innovators from all around the world. The conference brings together edtech startups, academic faculty from top institutions, Chief Innovation Officers, university leadership, teachers, and other stakeholders in the future of higher education teaching and learning.
In the project "Telepresence robots to foster inclusivity and connectedness in high contact hybrid higher education”, the Maastricht Center for Robots experimented with a service robot offering telepresence for remote students in our problem-based learning tutorials.
