International Health
The mission of the FHML Department of International Health is to provide high quality, interdisciplinary, state-of-the-art (content and form), innovative education and research with societal relevance addressing health and societal challenges, proposing solutions with impact at the local, national and international level.
We focus on policy and workforce development in public health.
INTHEALTH is part of the Care and Public Health Research Institute (CAPHRI).
INTHEALTH is a member of the European Public Health Association (EUPHA).

WHO Collaborating Centres
On October 10 2025, the Department of International Health, part of the Care and Public Health Research Institute (CAPHRI) at Maastricht University launched their new WHO Collaborating Centre at a hybrid conference.
