Algorithm meets hardware – a culture clash?
Modern technical systems are getting smarter and smarter. To enable these highly sophisticated applications software, algorithms and AI play a major role. But nevertheless, it is still the hardware that finally realizes the application, e.g. an autonomous car and there is a strong correlation between the hardware and software. Taking autonomous cars as an example this talk discusses some hardware features and limitation that have to be taken into account for the realization of modern mechatronic systems.
