PhD student (aio) at the department of Translational Genomics. Part of the Generate Your Muscle-project (generateyourmuscle.com).

Gratuated from Radboud University in 2016 in Biomedical Sciences (BSc), and later in 2020 in Regenerative Medicine (MSc) at Utrecht University. From 2021 onwards, I have been appointed as a PhD student here at Maastricht University. 

Involved in clinical studies in collaboration with MUMC, along with animal studies with UHasselt and in vitro cell models. My focus is on establishing a stem cell therapy for non-genetic muscle disease, including cachexia, sarcopenia and disuse.
