Congratulations to Marieke Spreeuwenberg, who has been appointed as professor of Health Innovation and Digital Transformation as of January 1st, 2024!
With a background in psychology and statistics (PhD), the research focus of prof. dr. Marieke Spreeuwenberg is aimed at the digital transformation of healthcare. Her research is in line with the social urgency to transform healthcare. The starting point is to make appropriate care more affordable by using the power of digital technology and data-driven care. In particular, her research aims to acquire knowledge about the development, implementation and evaluation of digital and data-driven healthcare innovations and to focus in particular on the (implementation) strategy that healthcare organizations should follow in order to fulfill their ambitions in the field of appropriate, hybrid healthcare.
