Join 4 Energy Donates €50,000 for Muscle Stem Cell Therapy Research
Prof. Dr. Bert Smeets and his team has received a €50,000 donation from Join4Energy to advance their pioneering research using mesoangioblasts derived from the patient’s own body.
This funding is directed to Milocron, a company involved in the FIT project, which focuses on further developing this promising therapy.
Following positive results from a clinical study confirming the safety and effectiveness of the treatment, this donation will enable Bert and his team to develop a second generation of stem cells. This crucial support brings the goal of making this treatment clinically available and covered by insurance a step closer.
