National developments on XR

The Npuls pilot hub XR explores what is needed for educational institutions to develop and provide the best possible education with XR. It does this in coordination with and on behalf of vocational education training schools, universities of applied sciences, and research universities. In this way, the hub can work together to ensure the accessibility and future of XR in education.

Results thus far

  • The hub is working on an XR framework and toolbox to support educators getting started with XR in their teaching.
  • Npuls is also developing an educational XR Appstore featuring XR content for different subject areas, educational levels and types of users.
  • Npuls also developed a card game designed to help professionals explore the ethical challenges of extended reality (XR). Through gameplay, role-playing and discussion, topics such as privacy, data security, and accessibility are addressed. Reach out to EDLAB  if you want to play it, we have a card deck in our office!
