Nieuwjaarsreceptie 2025
On Monday 6 January 2024, from 15.15 to 18.00, we will be raising a toast to the new year together at the New Year’s Reception in Centre Céramique.
Exhibition
The reception will be held at Centre Céramique, located at Plein 1992 in Maastricht. The speeches will begin at 15.45. Afterwards, you are welcome to explore the first floor of the Maastricht Museum, where experts are ready to share the hidden stories of Maastricht with you.
In the new exhibition wing, formerly Café Annex, you can view the temporary exhibition “Met Het Hart Verzameld”, which focuses on paintings from Maastricht. This exhibition offers a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into the museum. The space is arranged as a storage depot, with paintings displayed on large racks, similar to the storage areas in museums. Here, you can discover how artworks are preserved, documented, and cared for.
Accessibility
The easiest and most sustainable way to reach Centre Céramique is by bike! Park your bike in the designated bike racks at Plein 1992. Prefer to come by car? The entrance to the Q-Park Plein 92 is at the back of Centre Céramique. The exact address of the car park is: Plein 1992 53, 6221 JP, Maastricht.

Please note! The entrance to the Centre Céramique reception is located at the back of the building and can be accessed via the lower ground floor (Sonnevillelunet).
