Dual Career Services

At Maastricht University, we warmly welcome international (academic) talent and recognise that relocating to a new country involves more than just starting a new position. To help you and your family feel at home, we offer a range of support services - including those specifically designed for partners.

Support for finding employment in the Netherlands

Through our Dual Career Services (DCS), we support partners of international staff in exploring career opportunities within the Dutch labour market. Our aim is to help create a fulfilling and enriching experience not only for our international employees, but also for their partners. While we cannot guarantee employment, we will provide DCS partners with the necessary tools to enhance your success in finding a job.

These services consist of:

  • Personal intake with one of our recruiters.
  • A free check of your CV, motivation letter and LinkedIn profile.
  • Information about the Dutch labour market, possibilities for internationals in the Maastricht region and international job portals.

Who is eligible for the Dual Career Services?

You may be eligible for the DCS if:

  • You are an international (non-Dutch) partner;
  • Your partner holds a payroll position at Maastricht University.

How to apply?

You can send an e-mail to recruitment@maastrichtuniversity.nl. Please include your CV in the e-mail. One of our recruiters will contact you an schedule an appointment for a personal intake.
