Co-edited collective volume by MCEL member Lilian Tsourdi on the intertwinement between criminal justice and immigration control

This collective volume, co-edited by Niovi Vavoula, Lilian Tsourdi and Valsamis Mitsilegas, offers a contemporary understanding of the state of the art of ‘crimmigration’ with a focus on the European Union and challenges this paradigm of intersecting criminal justice and immigration control. The contributions to this book analyse migration control through criminal law from multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives, incorporating insights from law, philosophy, and criminology. The volume features 10 contributions, including two co-authored chapters by Lilian Tsourdi, as well as sole authored chapters by UM Faculty of Law colleagues Johannes Keiler and Flavia Patanè.
