NRS science award
On April 11 during the ‘Week van de Longen’ Onno van Schayck and Annerika Slok received the NRS science award for their research about the Assessment of Burden of COPD tool (in Dutch: Ziektelastmeter COPD).
This price is awarded every two years to recognize outstanding achievements in interdisciplinary respiratory science. The award of € 10.000 should be used for an activity that stimulates societal interest for the proposed research. They plan to use the money to make short (animated) videos to promote the tool and to educate healthcare providers how to use the tool during consultation.
