Team USA wins international finals of the International Client Consultation Competition (ICCC)
The USA team was the winner of the 2018 ICCC competition. The Maastricht Faculty of Law hosted the international finals of the International Client Consultation Competition from April 11 through April 14 2018. In total 22 countries participated and sent in a team. These countries covered the complete globe from New Zealand to Illinois via Malaysia, Georgia and Ireland.
The team of Maastricht University (Robin Britt and Costin Puşcaşu) succeeded in reaching the semi-finals. There they lost against the USA team, which eventually won the competition, leaving co-finalists Scotland and Malaysia behind them. The excellent performance of Robin and Costin was also due to the relentless efforts of their coach Agustin Parise and his co-coaches Elise Mola and Sofia Paoletta.
The Faculty looks back on a wonderful event, in which competition, education, history and local culture came together in a sparkling mixture. We have to thank the sponsors Gemeente Maastricht, the province of Limburg, Universiteitsfonds SWOL and Wolfs Advocaten for making this all possible.
