Sarah Edris (S.A.)
I am an Assistant Professor at Maastricht University and Visiting Research Scholar at KU Leuven. I hold a Ph.D. from Rutgers University.
My research focuses on the international business activities and innovation strategies of multinational firms, including IP defense strategies, as well as the organization and geography of R&D collaboration. My work relies on econometric analysis of large-scale data from the leading firms in the pharmaceutical industry, such as patents, patent litigation, and publications.
At Maastricht University, SBE, I design and coordinate courses, lecture, and tutor at the BSc- and MSc-level, supervise PhD dissertations and MSc theses, and serve on various committees.
