About us
Are you a non-Dutch national and will you soon be employed by Maastricht University? Maastricht University is keen to provide its international employees and their family members with a warm welcome and a good start to their stay in Maastricht or its surrounds.
Part of the university’s HR department, the Knowledge Centre for International Staff (KCIS) is happy to offer you its services. We will assist you with various procedures that are required to work and live in the Netherlands legally. We can also provide you with further information on a variety of topics you might encounter when moving to and living in the Netherlands.
The HR department will inform KCIS about your employment contract at UM. KCIS will then guide you through the following procedures where relevant.
