On 13 May, NWO announced the winners of the 87 VIDI prizes of 800,000 euro. One of the winners is Bram Van Hofstraeten (Foundations and Methods of Law, Faculty of Law).
Dr Annemarie Koster (Associate Professor at the Department of Social Medicine) was installed by the Health Council of the Netherlands as a member of the committee that will develop the new Dutch physical activity guidelines on behalf of the Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport.
Chris Evelo (ELIXIR Netherlands) is the new co-leader of the ELIXIR Interoperability Platform, replacing Barend Mons, the Head of Dutch ELIXIR Node. Evelo joins Helen Parkinson (EMBL-EBI) and Carole Goble (ELIXIR UK) in leading the Interoperability Platform.
