Emeritus Professor Harry Struijker Boudier has won the Dr. Saal van Zwanenberg Honorary Prize. This biennial prize of 25,000 euros is awarded by the Koninklijke Hollandsche Maatschappij der Wetenschappen.
The prize is a is a tribute to scientists who have contributed to research that has led to the development of new drugs. Professor Struijker Boudier has made important discoveries in the field of blood pressure lowering medicines.
