Paul Savelkoul receives MUMC+ honorary medal

On Friday 5 June, Professor of Medical Microbiology Paul Savelkoul (NUTRIM, CAPHRI) delivered his farewell lecture. It was a fitting occasion to reflect on his impact on medical microbiology and innovation in patient care.

During his lecture, Paul Savelkoul was also awarded the MUMC+ honorary medal in recognition of his exceptional contributions to healthcare and science. His dedication, leadership and impact have left a lasting legacy within the institute and beyond. This award is a fitting tribute to an inspiring career.
