New: AI hub on Smart Services Campus
Limburg now also has an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Hub. It will be housed in the most logical place: the Brightlands Smart Services Campus in Heerlen. Such an AI hub is the central point of contact for companies and knowledge institutions in a region that want to work with AI. With the Limburg AI hub, the Netherlands now has seven hubs that work together in the Dutch AI coalition.
Maastricht University is one of the initiators of the AI hub. Researchers and students from UM and other knowledge institutions can collaborate with partners from the private and public sector to deploy AI technology for society: in Limburg, the Netherlands and beyond. President of the Board Martin Paul underlines the success that this AI hub is now also part of the Dutch AI Coalition. A success for the Brightlands Smart Services Campus in Heerlen and for the entire Brightlands concept.
