Get active in spring! The UM steps challenge starts 15 April
Thursday 15 April, more than 1100 participants start the UM steps challenge. In this challenge our faculties and service centres compete for the title of 'most active faculty/service centre of UM', and for a sum of money for vitality promotion.
The first faculty/service centre to reach an average of 178,500 steps per participant - calculated over the duration of the challenge at that particular moment - wins the challenge. If each participant in your team takes an average of 8,500 steps per day, you should be able to complete the challenge within 3 weeks. Or do you think your team can finish sooner..?
In this video, prof. Stef Kremers, professor of health promotion, shares his tips for getting more exercise in your daily routine.
