Course 'Leaders for Excellence in Health' in Bucharest
Her Excellency, Ms Stella Ronner-Grubačić, the Ambassador of the Netherlands in Romania, appreciated and welcomed the “Leaders for Excellence in Health” course for hospital managers delivered by Maastricht University on 27-28th June, 2019 in Bucharest in the framework of the Leadership for Public Health in Europe LEPHIE post-graduate training directed by Ms Kasia Czabanowska.
The course was supported by the MoH and Foreign Investors Council. “Health is now a priority for Romanian authorities and that the total spending on healthcare has grown significantly over the last four years and the authorities have put a lot of effort in trying to solve important issues in the healthcare sector, the sector is still not working according to EU standards”.
One of the main organisers and driving force behind the course is dr Mihnea Samoila, a graduate of Maastricht University Leadership for Public Health in Europe (LEPHIE) course in 2014.
