My research focuses on aesthetics, moral psychology, philosophy of cognitive science (including AI) & mind.​

I have done research on implicit bias (such as implicit prejudices and stereotypes), emotions, moral psychology, aesthetic experiences, and various interactions between these topics (such as bias in art). 

Currently, I work on emotional AI, including emotion recognition technologies and empathetic chatbots, as a YUFE/MSCA-funded postdoctoral researcher at Maastricht University. I also coordinate the Philosophy and Ethics of AI MA seminar at the University of Antwerp.
