At Maastricht University (UM), we offer a variety of support services for refugees who are applying to study with us. To streamline these services, we have a central contact person you can turn to if you are a refugee or have applied for asylum. We want all of our students to feel safe and secure in Maastricht.
Refugees applying to study at Maastricht University
If you are you a refugee and would like to study at Maastricht University, we can help you with:
- the application for diploma evaluation
- finding the right study programme
- finding preparation courses if you do not yet meet the admission requirements for the regular bachelor’s or master’s programmes of your choice
- finding ways to finance your studies
- resolving housing issues
- connecting with counselling services for your mental health and wellbeing
- learning Dutch
