Directions & parking
Arrive by public transport
The location is also easily accessible by public transportation. Take the train to Maastricht and continue your journey on foot or by bus.
- By foot: If you enjoy a pleasant walk, it's approximately 25 minutes from Maastricht Station to the event location (Tongersestraat 53). The route takes you through the historic city centre and offers a perfect start to your day back in Maastricht.
- By bus: Lines 4 and 7 connect Maastricht Station with Tongersestraat or Tongerseplein. Both stops are only a few minutes’ walk from the venue. You can plan your trip using 9292.nl.
Arrive by car
There is no parking available directly at the School of Business and Economics (Tongersestraat 53). Instead, we recommend using the Vrijthof car park (paid), the Tapijnkazerne parking (free, 20 spots available) or the UMIO - Tapijnkazerne parking (free, 50 spots available).
At the Tapijnkazerne, make sure to mention at the gate that you are attending the UM Connect Day. The ticket that you receive needs to be scanned at the reception desk at Tapijnkazerne before you leave. Otherwise you can not get out of the parking lot! Please be aware of this.
Keep in mind that parking spaces are limited, so be sure to arrive early if you plan to park there.
Photography during event
Photos will be made during the event. If you don't want to be photographed you can request a red sticker to put on your badge at the registration desk.
