"Embodied Neural Models: Closed-Loop Control of Neuro-Musculoskeletal Systems"
This thesis investigates models of the neural circuitry involved in motor control. Specifically, the neural models are integrated in a closed-loop control system, a constraint that closely resembles the human biomechanical system by which the brain is embodied. To that end, the thesis proposes three novel control frameworks to study embodied neural models.
