YUFE Bachelor

Currently in the implementation phase and set to launch in the 2025/26 academic year, the bachelor Urban Sustainability Studies is an innovative undergraduate programme offered jointly by the consortium of universities within the YUFE alliance. This programme addresses the growing demand for interdisciplinary professionals in the field of urban sustainability.

Structured as a three-year, 180 ECTS programme, the Bachelor in Urban Sustainability Studies embraces a student-centred, open-curriculum approach, granting students significant autonomy over their learning journey. The majority of the YUFE Bachelor courses are taught onsite and in English, with additional opportunities for online academic courses, (foreign) language learning and improving students’ Academic English skills. Students will spend at least two semesters pursuing a minor at one or two other partner universities within the consortium. This approach offers students the chance to broaden their academic perspectives and immerse themselves in different European cultures.
