UM Strolls
UM Strolls is an initiative to provide the UM community with an accessible infrastructure to go out for a stroll! Going for a stroll daily is a great way to reach your daily step goal, a fun way to get to know your fellow students or colleagues and an amazing way to get to know all the beautiful things the surroundings have to offer!
UM Strolls was created based on an idea by Matthijs Bosveld, member of the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences 2020-2022. Together with local stakeholders, a walking route along the three faculties at Randwyck, the different companies on campus and the various catering establishments was created. The start and ending point of the walking route is the Randwyck Social Sofa in front of Maastricht University at UNS40. The Randwyck Health Campus Stroll is accessible to everyone through this website: so go out for a stroll if you're around!
Randwyck Social Sofa
The design of the Social Sofa is called 'Helping Hands', designed by UM students Léonie Smith (FHML) and Marianna Galica (FPN). The design symbolizes the contribution of and the connection between student organizations on the Randwyck Campus and the citizens of Maastricht. Special thanks go to the Art and Heritage committee of UM for their contribution to the realization of the bench.
What about my faculty?
