Pre-master for International Business

 This pre-master's programme is a transfer programme for students of Universities of Applied Sciences who wish to obtain a university master's degree in International Business.

Who is the pre-master's programme for?

As of 1 July 2020, you can apply for this pre-master’s programme via Studielink until 1 December 2020 if you have followed or are following a relevant bachelor’s programme at a University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany. If you meet this requirement, there will be no assessment by the Board of Admission: we allow you to start the pre-master’s programme then if you fulfil all registration requirements (payment, diploma, etc). Please check your eligibility here:

Please note: To start the pre-master’s programme in February 2021, you need to graduate from the bachelor’s programme by 31 January at the latest.

Tuition fee

The tuition fee for the February 2021 intake of this pre-master's programme is €1.071,50  for both EU and non-EU applicants.

Pre-master courses

The programme is composed of key courses taken from the SBE Bachelor’s courses. Some of these courses are assessed by individual papers, others with a focus on group work. You will gain a foundational knowledge in the field of study, become familiar with problem based learning (PBL). You will also train skills like speaking in English in public.

The students in the pre-master’s programme will be granted admission to the related SBE master’s programme after successful completion of its pre-master’s programme of 30 credits (ECTS).

  1. Apply in Studielink 
    Your application for the premaster’s programme starts in Studielink. That is where you create your account and submit your application.
  2. Upload required documents in MyUM
    After submitting your application you will receive your MyUM login details and you have the possibility to upload all required documents for the application procedure. 

    In this case, the required documents are:

  • Bachelor’s degree certificate and/or certified lists of grades from the bachelor’s programme
  • Passport or identity card
  • Portrait picture
