INKOM 2026 - Maastricht's official student introduction week

From 17 August until 20 August, Maastricht will be all about INKOM: the official introduction week and the perfect start to your student life. Mainly aimed at new students of Maastricht University, Zuyd University of Applied Sciences and VISTA College, INKOM helps new students get to know the city, student life and their fellow students through a wide range of experiences across Maastricht.

The programme offers a variety of activities throughout the city, including Summer Valley: INKOM’s own festival, the MECC parties, the Welcome to Maastricht information market, a movie night at Lumière and many other social, cultural and informative events.

Senior students are also welcome to participate in INKOM. While the programme is primarily aimed at students who are new to Maastricht, many senior students return as mentors or join events such as Summer Valley and the MECC parties.
