MCEL members launch the new EU Agencies Corner
On 26 November 2025, MCEL members organised an event about EU Risk Regulation and EU Agencies. The event featured interventions by Professor Ellen Vos (MCEL co-director), Dr. Bernhard Url (former Executive Director of the European Food Safety Authority), and Dr. Andreas Mitrakas (Head of Cabinet, Office Executive Director of the EU Agency for Cybersecurity).
The event served as the platform for the launch of the EU Agencies Corner, the new blogpost series hosted by the REALaw.blog. MCEL member Mariolina Eliantonio, in her capacity as editor-in-chief of the Review of European Administrative Law, presented the series and the inaugural blogpost, which contains an interview to Dr. Bernhard Url by MCEL members Guido Bellenghi, Alessandro Cuomo, Luca Knuth, and Ellen Vos.
The event was followed by a public debate co-organised with Studio Europa Maastricht.
