Drs Nicolle Bassie - van den Elst (N.L.)

I am Nicolle Bassie – van den Elst.  If you would ask me who I am in a few key words I would say "an energetic, enthusiastic, empathic, entrepreneurial, determined, connecting person who follows her heart.

Extending the question with and what am I good at and makes me happy, it would be something like:
"Through my genuine enthusiasm and openness, I have the ability to motivate, inspire, and bring out the best in myself and others. I am an energetic person with unwavering determination, who sees obstacles as challenges and transforms them into learning experiences that contribute to (personal) growth.

My deep inner drive to bring out the best in people, processes, and systems, and empower others, combined with my analytical and conceptual skills and decisive personality, make me the bridge between people and concepts, between analysis and change.

With an open, sharp mind, I quickly identify connections, and establishes the right links between people and concepts, all while keeping the individual and the bigger picture in focus.

Small in stature, and big in impact, that is me”.

Regarding my professional working experience, 21 years, of which 11 years in higher education (lecturer and coach),  and 10 years in strategic project and process management.  Throughout my career at Maastricht University and beyond, I have led educational innovation, coached (high-potential) students and professionals, and managed complex organizational change projects in both public, semi public and private sectors.

Next to my professional endavours as a lecturer and coach I will start my own coach practice soon. Stay tuned, updates follow via Linked In.

Moreover, I love to spend time with my husband Niels and J.J. our son. Exploring the world (Maastricht most of the time) while walking, playing with cars, and eating fries are - amongst others- our favourite mother and son activities.
