"Enhancing The Interoperability And Reusability Of Nanosafety Data: A Foundation Towards Deeper Insights and Intelligent Applications"
This PhD research presents a series of contributions towards improving the interoperability and reusability of nanosafety data. It highlights the application of the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) to improve nanosafety data management towards more reusable data. The work underscores that nanomaterials, while innovative, may pose safety risks and that it is challenging to assess that due to fragmented data and inconsistent reporting practices.
This work contributes to advancing nanosafety research by aligning domain-specific standards with the FAIR principles, developing accessible tools and datasets for researchers, and leveraging semantic web techniques to enhance data interoperability and reusability. These innovations provide a robust foundation for future nanosafety applications and offer transferable approaches for other data-intensive fields.
