HSR presenteert op de AcademyHealth in Washingon D.C.
Afgelopen 2 tot en met 4 juni bezochten Arianne Elissen, Anne van den Bulck, en Rowan Smeets de ‘Annual Research Meeting’ van AcademyHealth in Washington D.C. Als organisatie richt AcademyHealth zich primair op het onderzoeksgebied van ‘health services research’.
Arianne, Anne, en Rowan kregen alle drie de kans om hun werk te presenteren tijdens het congres. Arianne presenteerde het onderzoek naar patiëntvoorkeuren voor diabeteszorg (waarbij Dorijn Hertroijs eerste onderzoeker is) in een sessie met het thema ‘cost, price, and health care consumerism’. Anne presenteerde een poster van haar review naar de samenstelling/kenmerken van case-mix modellen in de thuiszorg binnen het thema ‘payment and delivery systems innovations’. Rowan presenteerde een poster van haar kwantitatieve studie naar subgroepen van chronisch zieke grootgebruikers van zorg, binnen het thema ‘high cost, high need populations’.
