Alice G. Brandfonbrener Young Investigator Award for Vera Baadjou
Vera Baadjou has won the Alice G. Brandfonbrener Young Investigator Award from the Performing Arts Medicine Association (PAMA). Vera is engaged in research on prevention of physical complaints in music students.
Her submission, a study on influence of body posture on muscle activity and sound quality while playing the clarinet, is selected to be presented at the annual PAMA congress in Snowmass, Colorado.
Vera is a PhD candidate at the department of Rehabilitation Medicine and her research is embedded in the research line Functioning & Rehabilitation.
