A NARCIS milestone: more than 700,000 academic open access publications registered

The Dutch scholarly publications portal NARCIS now presents more than 700,000 open access publications by Dutch academics. Maastricht University counts for 15,228 open access publications.

Among the 700,000 open access publications are 287,000 journal articles, 140,000 reports, more than 82,000 dissertations, 29,000 conference papers and 21,000 book parts. The publications stem from 37 scientific institutions in the Netherlands, including the Dutch universities, KNAW, and NWO.
