Bram Bloks and LaunchAI
Digital innovations and solutions, such as (big) data and artificial intelligence have an enormous potential to improve and optimize processes in the physical world. However for many who are not working with these technologies on a daily basis, these innovations often remain hard to grasp. People do not have a clear picture of the technical possibilities, requirements and issues to put them to work properly. This often hampers adoption and implementation. Therefore it is of vital importance to define possible applications and have a clear strategy upfront about what, how and why you are going to implement these techniques.
Bram Bloks and colleagues from start-up LaunchAI will present their story and underlying technology to our BISS MSc students. One of their specialization is building and maintaining intelligent monitoring systems using data science and artificial intelligence, incl. machine learning. They will share their experiences and give examples from the field, do’s and don’ts, as well as important social and technological aspects. One of their specialization is to build “Digital Twins” of physical artifacts, like for example a bridge.
