Bridges over Brexit
As we continue to witness geo-political challenges on the European and global stage, universities are challenged to position themselves to protect exchange and collaboration between institutions, staff and students. Maastricht University and the University of York, who have embarked on a strategic partnership, are addressing this by bringing experts together to discuss the current situation and the necessary responses by institutions of higher education.
This discussion will take place on the morning of Maastricht University’s annual DIES Natalis, to address a number of pertinent questions such as:
‘’What role should universities play in times of uncertainty and geopolitical challenges and are they up for the challenge?”
On behalf of both the University of York and Maastricht University, you are cordially invited to join us for this discussion on the morning of 25th January 2019 at 9.30 -12.00hrs, where we will also share insights from some of our European experts.
The discussion will take place at the Feestzaal of the Faculty of Law. The discussion will be held with a mixture of colleagues and students from Maastricht University and the University of York. To ensure a good format for discussion, this is a select and small-scale event for which registration is required. Registrations for seats will be addressed on a first come first served basis. So to join the event, please register!
